  • What is Projector Lamp Life?

It’s the expected operating time for the lamp when first installed. Interestingly, the average lamp life is 2500-3000 hours and may vary depending on the projector make and model. Check the remaining lifespan of the lamp by accessing the Lamp section of the menu of your projector. To extend the lifespan of your projector lamp always operate the projector in a relatively dust free and well-ventilated area and make sure that you clean the filters regularly. As well, you can also use it in the ECO mode but his will reduce the brightness of the picture slightly. To conclude, you can access the ECO mode from the main menu of your projector.

  • How to clean Projector Filters?

To begin, disconnect the projector from power and laptop and allow it to cool down before proceeding with any maintenance work. Additionally, refrain from performing maintenance tasks on a warm projector. To clean the filters, utilize an air can or a household vacuum cleaner on the felt or sponge material. Remove the filter(s) and eliminate the dust. Finally, remember that one of the filters is always situated beside the lamp.

  • Why is my image dark and/ or flickering?

It’s important to note, if you see that the image projected is not as bright as it used to be, it is likely that the lamp is reaching the end of its life or that there is an issue with the display connection cable. Additionally, you will need to check the cable connection and remaining lamp life in the ‘Menu’ to establish the cause. Finally, If they all seem to be in order and the problem persists, contact us for further advice.
